Our Olmsted County Republican Party was assigned entry position #26. Entries will queue along 2nd Ave NE (a.k.a. W Silver Lake Dr.). In past years, entry number placards have been planted curbside on either side of the street. The float is expected at 5:15 on the west side of the street near 1st St NE.
The parade starts at 6:15, our line-up number means we should get underway fairly soon.

The goal of this session is to train concerned citizens to become local watchdogs who track local government activities in their own backyard.
The event will feature instruction and panel discussions on: legal issues involving the Freedom of Information Act, Minnesota Data Practices Act, and Minnesota Open Meeting Law
How to work with traditional and new media.
How to analyze local government documents and financial data.
Speakers, complete agenda, and directions to the event will be emailed to participants. Space is limited. Registration is free and a box dinner is provided. However, you must register in advance.
