The business properly brought before this Republican Party of Olmsted County (RPOC) Convention is determined primarily via the RPOC Constitution (view here) and the MnGOP (State Constitution), as Committees established by RPOC have prepared.

Business will commence immediately following the establishment of the organization upon reaching a quorom of precinct-elected delegates.

  • proposed by the 2 active Constitution Committee members:
    • Eliminating overlapping or redundant County-level qualifications to participate in, or seek election at, Precinct Caucuses. View proposed Amendment 1.
    • Eliminating 15 Central Committee positions open for election in non-Caucus (odd) years, potentially simplifying or narrowing access to Central Committee to exclusively Caucus (even) years; sacrifices the balance of guaranteed non-Caucus-year opportunities for a openings for a potentially tighter, two-year cycle of opportunity to constitute the controlling County Board.
